Why would a guinea drown in it's water bowl? - magazine poultry
I read in a magazine for poultry, if you have chicks of Guinea, in order to avoid stifling the ball in his bowl with water in order to. Why drown? What! Is that in the water or something else? If you know something about the chicken, please answer to the question.

This is not just for Guinea that) this habit (drowning with which different types of quail in my first attempt (50 years) I did not know they have water to drink and do not breed to realize that they can drown or catch cold.
Their down is so soft, it absorbs water, so you're not a record that can be cold and fall to drown.
So, after losing a couple who have always put water in the pipe Birdbath then I have never lost, then came the bottle drip drinkers who drank happily.
If the guy next to my own are nothing more, is not too bright. I fish at least one of them from our lake, dam every day because they to drop inches and lay their eggs in the strangest places. I have an old boat near the barn and a bird in the bathtub. These are strange birds. But the girls are very small and fragile, it might have something to do.
They are small and light enough to drown.
